Today I felt like it was one of those days. I felt like time flew by and I really enjoied work today. Now that the work day is over I kinda just sit back and wonder, man I sure do have some kick ass friends over there. Last night I caught the TNA Turning Point Pay-Per-View. The overall show as pretty cool. TNA always brings some of the best wrestling out there. I did however see Samoa Joe break character. Joe just went off and told everyone exactly how he felt about TNA and superstars coming just because they are a name. Joe took a shot at a lot of people in his promo and all of it was well recieved. I was completely shocked at Joe. TNA rules! I came home today and I started to watch TNA Impact, but didn't finish it due to the fact that I deciced to come into the office today. TNA Impact is always a good show. It's just amazes me how I don't care for or even know what's going on over at the WWE. I don't care for them and I don't think I will anytime soon. TNA Rules! WWE Sucks! Well I am going to head home now and watch the rest of TNA and I was thinking about hopping on my turntables and just relaxing as soon as I get home. I am tired. |
12.03.07 A Late Night Posting!! Ever just think back and think. Lately I've been into pleasing myself and worring about myself that I really haven't sat back and looked at the whole picture. I have a lot of friends that I care about and wish them the best in whatever they do. I am always supportive of whatever you need in life to make you a better person. I myself sometimes don't know what I am doing. I know the direction I want in my life I also know how I want to spend my life. I sometimes feel that I might put my happiness on top of everything and everyone else that I don't see what I am affecting because of this. I don't even know why I am typing this. Maybe it's just good to type something out. I don't know, I just felt like typing this out. Bottom line is that as long as I feel happy within myself and I stay calm and relaxed then everything will be fine.
11.28.07 I lost a baby!! I was working on a new mix for this site last night. Everything was going great but then all of a sudden, during a mix might I add, my turntable dies. I've had my vinyl turntables for maybe 5 years now. I haven't had one problem with them since I've had them. Nothing bad has happened to them since I've had them. I've had my CD turntable for almost two years. When I bought my Technics SL-DZ1200 something told me to buy a protection plan. Guess what happened, The darn thing isn't reading disc anymore. I was already like 15 minutes into this brand new mix for this site and look what happend. I walked into Sam Ash and they told me in 4 to 6 weeks they will call me and let me know that there is a new turntable waiting for me. Which is great but 4 to 6 weeks is a long time. I wanted to hook the supporters up with a brand new mix before Christmas. I can still mix vinyl and I might still go through with this mix but, I don't know if I personaly will be happy with this mix. Last thing I wanted to talk about is EMF. This past saturday was the first annual Eletric Music Festival, a lot of big names were there. I finally got to enjoy the Drum N Bass Jungle room. Awesome tracks and awesome music along with some pretty dope Dj's. I had nothing to complain about. I had a lot of fun and enjoied seeing everyone having fun. I am so worn out and just all around tired that I'm heading off to sleep, I must rest for this long week that is ahead. I need some energy.
11.21.07 I Gotta Rant Today, I wanted to buy TNA Wrestling Year 1 dvd along with John Cena's dvd which I was watching on YouTube but stopped because it seemed like a good buy. Anywhoo, I went to FYE to see if they had any of the DVD's I was looking for, guess what, nothing. I did however noticed that a lot of TNA DVD's were on sale long with some WWE dvd's. I still however walked out empty handed. Next stop was Best Buy. I found John Cena's DVD but that really isn't a DVD that I wanted. I mean I want it but I was only going to get it if I found TNA Wrestling Year 1. So once again I walk out empty handed. Last stop was Suncoast. This time around I asked them if they had TNA's Year 1 DVD and guess what they told me. TNA hasn't shipped them out yet. For the first time ever I have been let down by TNA. I have followed TNA for a good 4 years and this was one DVD that I really wanted to watch and I was really waiting for. I guess Thanksgiving will be TNA less due to the fact that I'm spending it at Grandma's house and she doesn't have cable. Well that's my little rant for today. I think everything will be good tomorrow as we once again wish thanks. Thanks for everything we have and everything good in our lives. So I'll end with Happy Thanksgiving.
11.19.07 A Weekend Pizza Slice What a weekend this weekend was. I didn't have much planned for this weekend and it turned out to be one awesome weekend. On Saturday I called off from work (again) and I hung out here at the office helping out. We were shooting a commerical for the Non-Profit that I work for. I did my part by helping out. I also took some pictures, Overall a fun day. I knew the day was going to be a good one just by the way my morning started. The morning started with me taking some time out and talking and sharing stories with my neighbor. I miss times like these, lately it's all due to the fact that just been a bit busy with everyone going on around the house and going on with my life. I miss hanging out with my neighbor. Sunday was just another day at work, nothing out of the usual. I will say that I had to go and deliever some keys to someone. However I did get to hang out with some of my friends from work later in the day and it was pretty cool. I can only wish that all my weekends were I don't have nothing planned can turn out like this.
11.16.07 Gotta Do Whatcha Gotta Do Today I took some time out of my day to hang out with someone I've never hung out with. Pretty cool cat and it's someone that I wouldn't mind hangin out with again. Today we also had a BBQ over here at the office. Nothing like having a real cooked hamburger while on your lunch break. I don't have much to say today as I am just tired and worn out. I am not going to the shit-hole tomorrow as our Non-Profit is going to shoot a commerical. Either ways good times good times and man am I tired.
11.11.07 TNA!!! I swear I love TNA!. PPV was awesome. There is no other way of saying it. My friend was over and I enjoied one awesome pay per view. I think I find all of TNA's ppv's great because each one is different. Each one has a different set of matches and has a different set of wrestlers. The mid-to-lower changes and I witness some amazing talent do their best to entertain. I just point out my love for TNA because they are 100 times better than what the WWF gives you. I want people to one day change the channel from USA to Spike and fine TNA. I don't want to go on and on. Bottom line TNA rules the WWE sucks.
11.05.07 I Always Wanted To Address This. In life I always wanted to do what I love doing. I always felt that way and still do till this day. I love my Dj'in I love my vinyl and everything that comes with Dj'in. I may not like the music that comes out now but I still love and mark out for a good Dj. While this site is Dj related it also is about me. I have people in life that I look up to but none of them are Dj's. Dj'in to me is being able to mix two records. That alone is pretty much the foundation of Dj'in. I am asked all the time why I still use vinyl. I love vinyl. Nothing out there can compare the feel of a vinyl record. I will say that I love my SL-DZ1200 and is one dope CD table but it still isn't vinyl. I personaly love the feel of the CD table and give anyone that can mix on CD tables a lot of respect. I got mad love to all the Dj's out there that can rock a party with CD tables. I got love for every house producer and house Dj that live next to thier CD table. There is so much to do on a CD table that I gotta love them. Now Scratch Live, I can't really love that program. I can understand why people use it and I can see why people love it but it's not for me. I don't think I'll ever buy Scratch Live. I don't want people to talk to me about it or try to get me to buy it. I have messed with Scratch Live and it's not really me. I will buy another CD table before I buy Scratch Live. I am going to hop on the turntables and make a 100 percent live mix. I am talking about no real planning just mixing live as it should be done. I am going to leave every mistake and every fuck up and say hey this is how it should be done. I love my tables so that's that.
10.31.07 YAWN!!! Eating a Chibatta Burger, With fries and two tacos sure can make you sleepy. I am right here at the office in my raver outfit yawning away. Don't ask me how I plan on staying up all night but I am going to try to do it. I had some time today to chill with my army friend. Hint all the food. Well it's kinda up in the air but we are thinking about hitting up bassrush wednesdays. I would really want to hit this thing up since I seem to have so much fun while this cat is in town but who knows. I think I wrote something up last time he was here back in July. Always lots of fun and lots of memories. Last order of business is that Today is infact Halloween. I normaly never do anything on this day nor do I plan anything out. I just have a feeling that today will be one heck of a time weather I am here at the office at bassrush or hanging out with a few friends. I always make the best of what I have. I suggest you do too. Have fun relax and chill.
10.28.07 The Massive! What a night Monster Massive was. The crowd was huge. I've never seen such a huge crowd for a event like this. We are looking at 47,000 Plus people. The whole night was just insane. I ran into Darren R again and he remembered me from Nocturnal. Pretty cool guy I picked up a t-shirt from him. Infected Mushroom seem to have the best set and the most energy of the night. I loved how they used really instruments in their performance. Swedish Egil had one amazing set as well. He played a lot of known tracks that most people should know and was a awesome way to kick off this Monster of a event. Who I think was the best of the night had to be Felix The House Cat. He played a lot of great tracks and even threw in that Jump Around by House of Pain. The night was awesome and sometimes I can't type up too much about these events because you just have to be there.
10.21.07 What A Night! My homie last night deciced to do one kick ass house party for all of his friends and whoever I wanted to invite. I will say that everything was awesome. I brought some tools which made me the life of the party. I was able to mix pretty much all night with two one hour breaks. Pretty fun! People sure do love that sexy back song. Speaking about the party My costume was a raver. I made some beeds, bought some bright color shirts, a bright color hat, some glow sticks, and there you go. Instant Raver, I think I might wear the same get-up come this saturday when MONSTER MASSIVE happens. Before I go, I called in on saturday from work. I took off early on Friday. I don't know what it is but I just can't stand being around so many negative vibes. I mean I am able to put up with a lot but it sometimes still isn't enough. I think from now on, I am just going to be a little bit more smarter and just put up with the bull and still enjoy life. If something big is happening I will take the day, If I have to take a day in order to do something that is once in a life time event then I will. If I stick to this rule then I should be able to handle all the hell that is work.
10.19/20.07 The Things I Do It is 4:20 in the morning. The things I do. The things I do to help friends out. I swear man, I was once told that I am a very honest and loyal friend, Sometimes I even amaze myself by what I do.
10.16.07 TNA! TNA! TNA! TNA RULES!!! I just finished watching TNA's Bound For Glory. If there is any one pay-per-view to watch it is Bound For Glory. If there is ever one company to support it is TNA. TNA brought what has to been one of the best pay per views in the company's history. TNA always delievers and it shows. I love TNA. The Bound For Glory started with a Ultimate X match that was just down right 5 stars from top to bottom. I really did enjoy this match. Not just because LAX was in the match but the fact that both XXX and LAX brought thier A game and had one heck of a match. Both teams took and made spots, took bumps and had the whole crowd behind them 100 percent. It was a awesome way to open up Bound For Glory. TNA is the shit. Hands down. The WWE can't compare what TNA brings. I love TNA's storylines their action fast matches and the crowd is completely behind the company. I can not even type up how much I love TNA and everything they bring. If it wasn't for TNA I think I wouldn't be watching wrestling anymore. Then again I think about Rob Van Dam and well anywhere he goes I tend to follow.
10.14.07 WOW! You know, there are so many things that people like to talk about, sometimes people get too personal on thier blogs. I am never one to get into too much detail but this blog is my opening space. Today I got word that my homie died. He was always one that would come around and bullshit with me. I will say that this guy really had a pretty advance mind for his age. I can sit here and think about all the good times and all the bad ones but there isn't much I can say about this. I personaly feel that everyone has a calling and everyone is put here for a reason. I also believe that you gotta enjoy life and everything that comes with it. It's a sad day when time takes away someone you care and wish the best for, and as I sit here, I still feel the same way for him as he takes the next step in life. I just sit back and think. I might shed a tear, but all is well.
10.12.07 So... We here at the office want to have a haunted house. The early plans are set and everything seems a go for having one kick ass event. We are going to scare the kids from 4 to 8. We are then going to close down the haunted house and have some sort of club night in the same place. Sounds like a great event and I hope it will be tons of fun if not then We shall see. I stopped by to visit one of my close homies. It's funny how we can just sit there and talk and bullshit for hours upon hours. I've always liked the company of these people and will continue to enjoy their company. It's just kinda cool to be around and have friends of this nature. I will say that
10.02.07 Today was Chill Today started by getting a call from the office to come in early and work on some designs. This was the first time that I've ever had to sit down and work on with someone. I normaly just am given an idea and from there we just go with it. I think we came up with some pretty nice ideas. Truth be told that I think I myself could of came up with a little bit more of a spark and jazz to our designs, but that's just how work goes. You are told to do something and sometimes it doesn't matter what you think but what your client thinks and is happy with. Don't get my wrong I am happy with the product but for it to have my name on it seems a bit limited. In the middle of the day, I had lunch with a old friend. Nothing like good times with an old friend while eating some mexican food and sharing stories. I work with this person and is on a leave right now but good times is still good times. I don't know what else to say other than i really did enjoy being around this person and just the overall vibe I get from being around her. I really wish I had more to say but I don't. I guess I will end it like this.
09.30.07 Wonderland Is Over Yesterday Nocturnal Wonderland is over, I will say that I had one hell of a time. I really wanted to hang out longer inside the Bassrush room but I didn't. I did however get to take in some Uberzone with some breaks. I will say that Uberzone was just as dope as the Chemical Brothers. The Chemical Brothers put on one hell of a set. I really did enjoy them and found them amazing. So many Dj's so much music, so many memories. I can't wait till next year and I can't wait for Monster Massive.
09.27.07 "I'm Not Superstitious" What A day what a day what a day! Today I took a trip down to the city of Long Beach. I only had one thing to do while I was there and that of course was to get my tickets for Nocturnal Wonderland! I walked in to the mom and pop record shop and within 5 minutes, I had my tickets in my hand. I can't freakin wait!!! I just found out that there is going to be a after party that runs from 3am till 11:30am, I want to do but I think I'll just pass but you never know. I shall let you know later. I came to the office early today. Lot's of businesses are ran here and once of them is this no-profit corporation called Fathers and Mothers Who Care. Visit them at www.fmwc.org they had one awesome web designer design their site. Anywhoo, They had this quick BBQ that was suppose to be 3 hours long but ended up being longer. The food was awesome, they had an awesome turn out and of course I gave a helping hand, more like a helping wheel. I really did enjoy this event plus the fact that it fell on one of my off days make this event rule. I was really surprised and pleased, I can't wait till the next one. Last Topic, Thursday is going to be the most filled day of Television. Starting next week TNA Impact! will be 2 hours long. After TNA, of course Smallville is back for what might be their last season, and we end the day off with The Office, that is almost 4 hours of me just sitting on the couch and watching TV. Insane but cool, TNA TNA! Real quick, Two hours of TNA is just another big step for this company I really love. I see TNA just keeps doing awesome and will continue to grow as a company. Much love for TNA.
09.24.07 We Can Fly Away Here I am at the office once again. Typing up some stuff while listening to this mix by Dj Irene. Dj Irene gave everyone on her myspace this awesome mix that is really is worth checking out. I've been a fan of Dj Irene for years and till this day still makes and spins some awesome house music. Paul Van Dyk's White Line is one awesome track. Speaking of House Music, Tomorrow I plan on buying my tickets for the Nocturnal Wonderland/Festival. I can't freakin wait. I remember getting this flyer back in June when walking out of a Incubus concert. I didn't give it much thought back then but as the card started to stack and stack. One day I said, Fuck It I'm going. Saturday is that day. I can't wait. Do you remember the Nintendo Entertainment System. I'm sure everyone does. Well lately I've fallen in love again with Dragon Warrior. I played this game for well over 4 hours yesterday. What a way to spend your Sunday off day but in front of a screen playing a NES game that came out 20 years ago. That's kinda it for today. I really didn't have much to say but I did want to type something up. Still no Hip hop mix, but working on it.
09.20.07 A Full Day off I am finally caught up with all of TNA's happenings. I've watched old Impact's and their latest Pay-Per-View. TNA is really one awesome wrestling company. From their roster to their matches, and the over all product, TNA is what they say they are "We Are Wrestling" My only complaint is how TNA gives former WWE guys a push over their own in house talent. Don't take me wrong some former WWE guys deserve that push but others are just what people say they are, WWE rejects. I gotta give credit where credit is due and that's even if they are old WWE guys TNA sure does know how to market them. I wanted to work more on my new hip hop mix but I just didn't get to it. I really haven't worked on it in a second. I guess I'll have it up within a week or so, might even take longer but for all I know is that after this mix I'm going to take a break until mid Oct. That is when I will start to lay down some stuff on paper for my new mix tape, MIND Trip. I can't wait. Another all house music mix tape. There is just so much house music out that I haven't really shared with anyone but it's all good in the hood. Speaking of house music next weekend is the Nocturnal Festival. I attended this festival back in the year 2003 and this year seem to be a bigger yet badder event. I will be there from 7pm all the way up untill 5am. I am really looking forward to seeing the Chemical Brothers live and Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox, and everyone else. I do know I will start my day inside the Drum and Bass room and we shall see how the whole night plans out. I can't wait for this event and it's only one week away. Which reminds me I gotta go and buy my tickets. Looks like I have something to do. Last thing I do want everyone to check out Murder on the Dance Floor and Monster Massive, they both look like awesome events. If your more into Jungle, Drum N Bass, Hardcore, Gabber, Murder on the Dance Floor is right up your alley. Seeya.
09.16.07 Killafornia Where I'm From Today I had to go to the Valley once again. This time it was a bit different because it was a different manager taking us there. Cool guy but for some reason I was diggin the other manager more. I will say that I kinda was beginning to miss my home shit-hole but it only took one day for me to say I kinda miss the Valley. Funny how people you've known for years can change on you so quick. Just a part of life I guess. On to some better news. Yesterday was the KROQ Los Angeles Invasion. The whole bill seemed to be pretty cool. It was lined up with people that I didn't mind seeing and people that I was a fan of and one of my all time favorite rap groups of all time Cypress Hill. I really did enjoy Cypress' performance. They played all the songs that I love from them and even played just about every single Pot smoking Marijuana song they have made. Kid Rock was awesome on the turntables, I've always heard how awesome of a performance Kid Rock does never really saw him live until yesterday. The Foo Fighters ruled and did an awesome performance. The Foo Fighters really do know how to play and mess with the crowd. I just felt that two bands really sucked but out of respect I don't name them.
09.11.07 Gotta Love California The only state that has a city where it will take you 1 hour to travel 5 miles. The shit-hole yesterday made me travel up to the Valley. I didn't mind yesterday, I kinda did mind today, I'm pretty sure tomorrow will be alright. As long as I get two days off. The Valley seems to be a bit hotter than over here in the south bay area of California. I don't know how some of the homies put up with that weather. I have started to mix a new hip hop mix for this site. This will be my first new hip hop mix since Feb. I plan on making one for this month and going right to work on another one right away. I want to spend all of October working on a new mix tape called, Mind Trip. I've said it before that Mind Trip will be a all house music mix tape. I think I will always try to put an all house music mix tape at the end of each year. I know after Mind Trip, I'm going to work on Toasting The Westcoast volume 3. I look to further expand that series with it's 3rd installment. I have high hopes with very little time. As I update my WTK Log or while I'm doing one of the many other things here at the office, sometimes I turn on the Sirius. Today was the first time I've really had a chance to listen to The Bob Sinclar show. It's a really good mix show. Bob Sinclar mixes a lot of house music that I enjoy. He is kinda on the same page as Dj Dan. I always love what Dan mixes and from the sound of today's show, Bob Sinclar is pretty much the same. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed The Bob Sinclar show today.
09.06.07 Classic Video Games There is this guy here at the office that loves War of Warcraft. I don't care or do I have an interest in ever getting into computer games, as it is not for me. Upon talking to him, I hinted about how much I loved this very classic RPG game called Dragon Warrior for the Nintendo Entertainment System. This led into me surfing the internet and finding this game. I found it and I have it on this computer where lately has been my source for my blogs. I can't believe that I spent 2 hours playing this game. From the classic song to the classic villians, this game is truly one of my all time favorite video games of all time. I think my goal is to defeat this game once and for all. I never got to beat this game as it still is one of my favorite games of all time. I find it funny how a video game made 10 years ago can still entertain me till this day. What happened to video games. I guess everything has to change, from good to bad or bad to good, change will always happen.
09.03.07 And A Side Order of Korn
|
08.30.07 The WWE Finally Gets Fucked I don't even know how to start this WTK Log. I guess I shall start with links to the story on hand. WWE Suspends 10 For Wellness Policy Full List of 20 WWE Superstars for Steriods In a nut shell, Congress came in and had the WWE give out it's wellness policy violators. Congress made the WWE suspend everyone on that list. On that list is: Charlie Haas Chavo Guerrero Edge Funaki Gregory Helms John Morrison aka Jonny Nitro Mr. Kennedy Randy Orton Umaga William Regal Batista Chris Masters King Booker Santino Marella Simon Dean Brian Adams Chris Benoit Eddie Guerrero Johnny Stamboli Sylvain Grenier All I gotta say is, It's about time! The WWE has had these people under their umbrella because they are top talent. I hate the fact that the WWE has this Wellness policy but has mofos violate it and do nothing about it. My favorite wrestler get's caught with some weed and pills and the WWF throws the book at him, make him loose all his titles, and suspend him for a month. While assholes like Batista & Orton run around free like their top shit because they are friends with the step son of the company Triple H. It's about fuckin time that the WWF gets some karma their way, For years the WWF has taken ideas and stepped on anyone and everyone to make their shitty wrestling the top in the business. The WWE took other peoples ideas, other peoples sweat and became this monster that it is now. I truly miss ECW, I miss the days of wrestlers like Bret Hart, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit. While those days are long and gone it's only right that the WWE gets Congress on them and really look into the monster that is World Wrestling Entertainment. It's about time that this dark cloud that is WWE gets some shit thrown at them. I can't wait to see how the WWE is going to cover this one up. I guess that after two months of me looking at Chris Benoit as a monster, he get's a point in my book for making congress look into the WWE, Last time the WWE was in some legal trouble, it only made WCW sky rocket to the top of TV ratings, Let's hope the same for TNA. TNA is about to start a two hour show in October, they have the talent of Kurt Angle, Christian, Aj Styles, Sting and many more. It's only right that TNA goes on to bigger and better things. I will say that I am a fan of the WWE and even thou I haven't watched their product since June 3rd (RVD's last match) I still plan on one day coming back when and if they get their shit together. Hints my comments on TNA. Anyways, A smile comes on my face as I see assholes now in trouble with congress and I am in hopes of TNA to just continue to do better and maybe just maybe the WWE will take this time to improve, and bring in some guys that are young and able to carry on great matches.
08.27.07 Warped Out and Bullshit First let's start with Wapred Tour, Saturday Warped Tour made it's way to my city of Carson, I didn't have any one band I wanted to see but a lot of bands that seemed cool. The overall vibe is pretty cool and I had one amazing time. Killswitch ruled!! They really rocked the stage and Sum 41 which was a band that I was looking forward to ruled as well. Pennywise and Bad Religion were cool too. This band by the name Pepper was a ear opener. I really was digging thier sound and vibe. I also saw this one band that was cool but I just can't remember their name unless I saw a list of bands. Like I said cool event I can't wait till the next one. Family Vaules is this Sunday, I can't wait to see Korn. Looking ahead I have the KROQ LA invasion which has Cypress Hill, The Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Kid Rock and a few others. Both seem to be a cool event. I love Korn but for I think the Invasion is going to be a little bit better. All this rock music made me want to check out the Nocturnal Festival happening later in the month. Nothing like a festival (rave) of House Music all night long. Tomorrow I'm going to clean up the room a bit, and I plan on starting a new hip hop mix. I haven't done a hip hop mix in a while. After I complete this hip hop mix, I am going to start work on a new mix tape called Mind Trip. Mind Trip is going to be all the different styles of house music that I enjoy in one dope ass 80 minute mix tape. The tape is going to be a lot of house from House, Hard, Techno, Disco and much more. I look forward to starting this mix tape. That's it for today, the internet is lagging here at the office, but I can't complain I have Area 33 bumpin which is sometimes all I need.
08.21.07 Spiked Lemonade Today was one awesome day, but real quick I gotta touch base on something that happened yesterday. So yesterday I took one of my closest friends out to eat on our lunch break. I order this insane amount of food that I was able to take down. I also ordered a "Spiked Lemonade". All this food just made my day and here I am thinking one day later on how awesome that food was. Today the same friend was going through some stuff which is why I shared a pizza with her and even left another pie for the husband which is also my friend and the kids that way they have dinner while the mom is getting back to normal. As I've stated before I don't like to talk too much about my personal life but the reason why I type all this and share this with you is because my friend is going to have a full 4 weeks off from the hell-hole. How come I can't get a quick vacation alway from the shit-place. I don't wanna be there. I really do hate it there. I've stated this so many times over and over again. I have to put on this fake smile daily and put up with shit that would drive any normal person insane. Thank goodness I have a huge tolerance and am naturaly a passtive calm relaxed person that I am able to put up with that fuck-place. I just wanted to vent real quick because darn it, it's not fair. I want to be away from the shit-hole. I guess I'll just clam myself down and look at how many call offs are coming up in the next couple of months. Yeah! A four day work week rules.
08.19.07 Let's Recap First off anywhere that I go to and the whole office comes a long is one great time. I have a few pictures from this event but I don't think I'll post any of them. I think I might use a few up over at my myspace for some people to look at and comment. Good times. Guess who was in town on saturday. The WWE had some type of special Beach Event over at Venice and I took my sis and deciced to go. The show had a wrestling ring set up in the middle of the beach. Power 106, The CW and lots of other stations were there. The environment that the WWF had was just awesome. I loved this event. The matches they had lined up were ofcourse jobbers but eh who cares, I've never in my life been that close to a WWF ring in my life. I gotta give a lot of credit for the WWF on making one kick ass free event. If you want to get a better feel on just how much fun this event was, go to youtube and put in Venice WWE and I'm sure it will pop up either today or tomorrow. Like I stated earlier, I had to dj a sweet 16, I will say that Clown Dancing is pretty kick ass. I was really entertain by the hip hop clown dancing performance. They work really well with Dj's. I would give them a plug here but I can't seem to find thier business card, (my room is a mess) The best part about Saturday was that I ran into some other Dj's that are really cool. They have a love for the house music and love turntables (sounds like my kind of people) I have thier business card and I can't wait to have Hocus Pocus in my hands.
08.15.07 A Few Things To Say I haven't written in a while but there are a few things to speak on. I'm really at a breaking point of just getting the hell out of the shit-hole. I really hate my 7 to 4 so much that I have to put on a fake smile everyday. I am at a point of leaving and not wanting to see anyone there. I have made friends and hold some of the people that work there close to me but man I sometimes just want to get the hell out of there. It's pretty bad, everyday I have to be there I am litteraly at my worst. Think about that, Everyday you see me at the shit-hole I am at my worst. Tomorrow the whole office is going out to Hollywood. I can't wait for this event. Just the fact that I get to be around what I consider my second family is going to be awesome. Anytime I'm around any one of the people of the office outside of the office is juse awesome. I just say that I'm going to enjoy myself and Friday is going to suck at the shit-hole Speaking of Friday, I am going to take a look at place that this sweet 16 I will be dj'in on Saturday. I have never Dj'ed a sweet 16. I've done weddings, house parties, but a sweet 16 is a step up. I am taking my friend and this will be the first time we are together mixing and making money. I know I'll have fun and I'll have ideas for a new hip hop mix for this site.
08.02.07 Till Real Late! I just wanted to speak real fast on a few things going on here. I went to the Dodger game on Tuesday hoping that Barry Bonds doesn't get his homerun. I am not against him breaking the record, I am against him doing his record against the Dodgers. What's up with everyone buying that two disc 300 DVD. I swear I walked in and out of 5 different stores trying to find this two disc DVD. I swear I wait one day and I couldn't find it. I ended up buying the single disc version. Which only bugs me more because I know that I will run into that two disc version and buy it. Last thing, I wanted to say how much I love my office job. I have the most kick ass bosses and the most kick ass co-workers. I haven't loved a job this much since I started working. I hate to beat a dead horse but I really enjoy it here. The only draw back is that, since I leave shit-hole at 4 and I get here at the office at 5 I tend to sometimes be tired. It's such a bitch to fight.
07.30.07 Just A Thought So Saturday, I went with the homie from the army to Club Avalon in Hollywood. I had fun everything was great. We left the club at 3:30ish. I went to bed at around 4:30 and woke up at 6 something still in time for work. I kinda fell back asleep, I hit the clock a few minutes late but that's not what this entry is about. Today my mom told me about a crash on the freeway, then the same homie texted me the same story my mom told me. At around 4am on saturday night/ sunday morning there was a 15 car pile up. I swear man, 20 minutes, If we were to stay long we might of been one of those 15. Life is crazy. When I saw the video online I was in complete shock. I couldn't believe my eyes. To think I might not have been able to type this up right now. Life is short and life is crazy. It's just a thought that keeps going over and over in my head that I just can't seem to get out. I guess I'll end with a picture. Check out the bottom right coner. ![]()
07.21.07 Would You Like Another So today was the big day of the WWE Raw House show that I was able to get tickets for. I of course was sporting a TNA t-shirt a long with a TNA sign. Well the club seats I was able to get ruled. I really was looking forward to two wrestlers, One was The Sandman and the other was Super Crazy. Funny enough that Super Crazy was in the opening bout, and The Sandman was right after Super Crazy. Super Crazy seems to be a bit slower than his days in ECW, but still a awesome performer. Super Crazy had one decent match. His match was with some white boy with a white girl that I have no idea who they were. During the match I saw Super Crazy mess up a move, I started to chant "You Fucked Up, You Fucked Up" then I realized I was the only one chanting. Second up was The Sandman, I really didn't enjoy his match but just the fact that I was able to see The Sandman was a joy in itself. I haven't seen The Sandman since his days in XPW here in Los Angeles. It was a awesome experience to see him again. I even got to shout out "You Sold Out Sandman" which is a plus. After The Sandman some Guido came out then Val Venis came out to bout him, I quickly became bored and started to chant "Where's my Pizza" This is when I came to the conclusion that real ECW fans are no longer in WWE crowds. After the Guido and Venis match they set up some type of Tag Team title match which I didn't care for, at this point in time I decided to head over to the Jack Daniels Bar just a few steps away from me. Both me and my sister stayed there ordering drinks and pretty much talking baseball with the bartenders till closing time. Overall the whole show sucked but I got to see the two people that I wanted to see. I really got wet at seeing The Sandman and Super Crazy, The highlight of the night was the fact that I was able to get my picture taken with Joey Ryan and The Human Tornado ![]()

07.18.07 "When I was high As The Sky" Invasion is one of the best shows on Area 33. I believe I've heard the most amazing playlist of any kind here. Right now they are playing a house remix of Rick James - "Give It To Me Baby". Area 33 is just an awesome station to me. I really enjoy this radio station. Yesterday I went with my sister to go meet Head from Korn. I've notice that He's written a book about his times in Korn and everything around a rock star lifestyle. From drugs to music and of course he found God after he quit Korn. My sister read the book I have no intension or reason to read this book. With that said I wanted to speak very lighty on this whole finding god thing. Bottom line is that I don't get it. I feel that everything is mind over matter. If you want to do it then you will do it. I also can understand how some people need a higher power to better themselves. If you think believing in something whatever it is can make you a better person, then more power to you. I just don't like how some people always seem to shove religion upon people. Last thing, download my new mix tape, stay tuned to a new hip hop mix as well as a new house music mix. Lots of stuff for you to enjoy here at WTK Entertainment. I guess I'll see you on friday as I make a type up about the WWE Raw House Show. |

07.14.07 A Return To Indy Even thou I am typing this at 2am I guess I'll still put this entry as the 14th. With only being 5 hours away from clocking in to work, I type this. Today I made my return to Indy Wrestling. I bought some tickets to this Indy Lucha Libre show called FCW. The card had a few names that I've come familar with over my days of watchin Lucha Libre. The card also had people that I've known from the Los Angeles Indy Wrestling days. I was completely shocked that I was more trilled and more entertained by the Lower and Mid-Card matches than I was with the Main Eventers. I guess because some of these wrestlers are old and slow maybe that's why I wasn't too entertained by them. Overall I had fun, a great night for wrestling and a decent show to welcome me back to the Los Angeles Indy Crowd. While at FCW, I got to meet up with an old friend, it was kinda cool to meet up with him again even though we didn't get to talk much or for that matter hang out. Another side note, I did however sport my L.A.X. TNA T-shirt. I felt that I needed to show love to TNA and just let some people know that there is a better promotion out there. I plan to wear TNA when I attend the WWE Raw house show next week. I want to talk more about the WWE Raw house show, but I think I'll save it for another entry. On to another subject, I want to have a new hip hop mix up here at WTK Entertainment. I haven't put together a hip hop mix since Feb of this year. I will say that I have dropped a new Hip Hop mix tape that is up for download inside the mix tapes section of the site. My female responce is just amazing, while the males seem to be kinda split. Some like it some don't. I guess I can now say that I've made a mix tape that pleases the female audience. |
Today I opened up a bag of 115 Fish Sticks, I cooked them, I served myself some rice, poured some ketchup, and ate all while watching Rob Van Dam take on Jerry Lynn. Yeah that was awesome Yesterday I went with my sister to a Incubus concert, the show rocked I had one great time. I was a little bit disapointed in the performace of "Drive" and the fact that they didn't perform "Pardon Me" but that isn't my complaint. My complaint is about two things that happend while at the concert. The first is some girl behind me said "I wanna have your baby!" I don't even know where to begin on how stupid and wrong that comment is. It just prove me point about these girls now and days. Imagine if I was a really popular Dj and someone shouted that out to me. I would run away from that type of gold digging girl. What bugs me more is that men fall for it way too much. My second complaint is as I'm walking out of the concert, some girl shouted out "Legalize Marijuana!" You see this is the reason why Marijuana will never be legal. You have stupid people that will say things without even doing some research on things. So when a dumb fuck shouts out "Legalize it" I have this urge to asked them why? I just want to know if they know their facts. I guess I'll end with something possitive, Have you heard that "Art Und Jorn - 16" Track? I wish I knew what exactly they were saying on the song, either ways it's one dope ass track. |
07.06.07 In Search of Los Angeles I think on my next real paycheck I'm going to go to the record store and pick up Dj Tiesto's In Search Of Sunrise Los Angeles. I've had a burned copy for a while, I really enjoy his mix, so it's only right I cough up the money to go buy it. I think I'll also pick up Dj Icey's new one which I've been meaning to get for months, Darn them Used CD sales I think my drinking of Vanilla Coke is just off the charts. I have forty something in Coke reward points and that's all off of Vanilla Coke. At this rate I don't think I'll be on my loosing weight streak anymore. I have to go to the shithole tomorrow. I took a long break from the shit hole. I haven't walked in since Monday. I needed a break from that place. So much bullshit happens there. I can't even understand how some people are happy with that job. I really hate it there but I put in my effort and I work just so time can pass. I think that when your in your 30's and have 5 kids i guess you have no choice but to love the shit hole. I don't know man. Anyways Let me tell you why I went on strike from the shit hole. I walked in on Monday and I noticed that only 3 people from my department deciced it was a good idea to show up. Since I was the only male guess who had to do a lot of the work. Whatever happened to equal rights? I swear it's all bullshit. Women scream for equal rights and want to get paid the same rate as males but don't want to work as hard as males. I think I'll end this entry now. I can tell them Wild Turkey shots are starting to take effect. I'm closing before I say shit that might get me in trouble.
07.03.07 Veal Rules!!! Today the bosses at the office took me out for dinner. I wasn't too familar with the food but knowing me and how I am willing to try anything at least once. I said for them to order for me. I got some veal, might I add veal is like beef flavored chicken. It ruled I loved it. I wanna know how to cook some that way I can make it at home. I think i'm just in love with the cow. Also I noticed something while I had dinner with my bosses, they will have your back no matter what. I kinda just pay attention to what they say and how they conduct business and wow. They really are the first bosses that I've ever had that I've looked up to. I walk in to the office and I say to myself I wanna be like them. I want to have Casual Shot Fridays, I wanna write off taking the whole office to dinner as a expence, I want to walk around bare foot. I want to be able to come in and leave whenever I want. It's crazy. These bosses really are role models, and after 6 jobs I finally found some real bosses to look up to.
06.29.07 Ever Just Think? You know ever since i've been at the office I've noticed that there is a lot of wisdom inside the people I work with. They all seem to tell me the same thing in life. My bosses at the office all seem to have the same overall goal. I think that's why I tend to love it so much. Not to get into too much detail but today went I walked in I noticed that something was out of wack. I still went about my day as always and working on my computer. In the times I have been left alone at the office I've never really worried about people coming into work or coming back. Well today My boss came back a few minutes before 9 and wow. I've always known that I have one powerful boss. I've known that me and her share the same views on life. My boss and I have had long conversations well into the am hours of the night. Today was cool, I shall end it like that.
06.26.07 Where To Start..
|
06.22.07 NEW MIX TAPE!!! The first ten mix tapes have been burned and we are looking at another 15 more to be pressed by this weekend. Do you think you are lucky enough to get a real copy of WTK's new mix tape?? I guess you shall find out as I will always have copies of this mix tape with me at all times. Ladies and Gentelmen The Party Rocker is out. The internet should get this mix tape in about 2 weeks.
06.20.07 Never Would I Think That I would be able to walk into the Office start to lay down basic design ideas and hour and a half later i'm told that the whole office is going to eat. Today was a prime example of why I love what I am doing, I also noticed that I was the only one that finished their whole plate. I'm not a big eater and when I have one huge plate in front of me I'm going to try my best to finish it. I feel that if someone is going to pay for my food, I'm disrespecting them by not finishing the plate. Same goes with drinks, Might I add that everyone in that office with the exception of one likes to have a frosty beverage, or a mixed drink. That's always cool because sometimes you need to be relaxed and I am a perfect example of that. I never let things get to me well for the most. Today I also bought a couple of Spider-man 3 toys for the office. That way I can just chill and while i'm waiting uploading, or waiting for an idea, I have something to distract me for the time being. I tend to have that here too. I have toys all around my computer desk, The problem is that over at the office I only have spider-man, here at home I have Samus, Popeye, Iron Man, Spawn, Venom just to name a few. Either ways you get my point. I'm going to go ahead and sleep now, That SoCo is starting to talk and I gotta go to hell-mart tomorrow.
06.17.07 TNA TNA TNA Today I sore I thought I was on the verge of watching a horriable Pay Per View. TNA always delievers a great pay-per-view time after time but today, I started to wonder. Let me also add that I was also kinda sleepy going into watching this Pay-Per-View but then again that's my own fault. TNA delievered another great pay per view. I loved it I love seeing LAX. LAX started the whole Pay Per View and it was a pretty good match. There were a couple of matches that were kinda slow but I think as soon as the top talent matches started the PPV was awesome. I still am amazed at Abyss. They put that man through a lot. I really hope Abyss gets some kind of bonus for the stuff he does. I think his match with Tomko was great. Too bad the main event King of the Mountain match took the show. Seeing Kurt as TNA World Champ is kinda cool. I see how they want to build the company around him. That's cool but you can't forget about the homegrown talent. TNA still rules and I will always feel statified whenever I order a TNA Pay-Per-View.
06.15.07 the start of a long weekend So much is planned for this weekend, I have a wedding to attend to, I plan on watching the Fantasic Four movie, and I have ordered TNA Slammiversary for Sunday. Might I also add that I am off from shitty work till who knows because of Jury Duty. I really don't care much for jury duty but anything that keeps me away from that shit hole is okay in my book. I wish i could type more but i'm tired. It's kinda late, I'll make an entry for Sunday,
06.04.07 A Dream Is Done Today was the first day at something I would sure as hell hope for could be something I would be able to do for the rest of my life. One of my goals in life is to get paid for something I love doing, while my Dj'in is part of that goal the other half is to sit in front of a computer and design and do shit that I love to do. From Graphic design or web design or music editing any of that I would love to do for a living and Today I can say I put another dent in my overall goal in life. On a completely different topic, I saw my boy Rob Van Dam have his last match in the WWE last night. Might I add that I was all into that match and nothing else of the pay per view. Maybe it was the beer in my system. I did say goodbye to Nationals in a good way considering the amount of money I've spend on them over the my time going and attending. Fun times and memoriable times. Plus this time around I wasn't the only one drinking.
06.02.07 I'm Alright Where to begin? I am less than 24 hours from seeing the last match from my favorite wrestler Rob Van Dam in the WWE. I can not wait for Rob to have new matches with younger guys that are willing to work with him. Guys that are able to keep up with his in ring style. Maybe even some dream matches that we haven't seen or them rematches that we have waited for a very long time. I hope that when RVD looses tomorrow. They throw him on the stretcher put him in a ambulance and take his ass straight to TNA. Tomorrow is also the last time i ever plan on visiting Nationals Sports Bar and Grill, I am now done with the WWE. No more of thier bullshit politics and bullshit storylines. I wanna see guys get over because of thier creativity, I wanna see guys get over because they are over with the fans. Two perfect reasons why guys deserve a push I don't wanna drag this out so I'll just end it.
05.31.07 Did You See That!! Due to the fact that it's officaly the summer and all my tv shows are on reruns (can't wait till weeds comes back) the only TV show I look forward to is TNA Impact! TNA is the only TV show I rush home to watch and must watch. I gotta say that my boys LAX hands down are the best thing in wrestling right now. They remind me of the NWO. Plus the beat down they gave Rhino, Hector Guerrero and Chris Harris was just classic. I was jumpin out of my seat cheering for my boys. I love LAX, and yet people wonder why I own all 3 of thier TNA shirts. Infact this sunday is the last time I'll be at the Nationals Sports Bar so I think I'll sport a TNA T-shirt, I'm gunna get my homie to wear one too. TNA at a WWE PPV, Classic stuff
05.28.07 Yikes! I just saw Chuck Liddell get his ass handed to him. I'm not really into this UFC shit but I mean everyone at work was talking about this match on Saturday That I just had to download it and see it for myself. I can't believe that in two minutes Chuck was just knocked out and seeing stars. I wanna say that there is a Fire that is burning inside of me that is putting in all the time and thought into my new mix tape. It's been about 10 months since my last mix tape and it's been 3 months since I last posted a mix up. I have a lot of projects started none finished. The first to get the finish treatment is going to be my new mix tape. Then I am going to finish a new web site that is going to be the web site mixes vol. 3. Those are some up coming projects incase your wondering what's going on with the music.
